The Oshkosh Waterfront Hotel & Convention Center offers a premier lakeside experience for our guests. As part of our dynamic team, you’ll help create memorable dining experiences for guests at one of Oshkosh’s premier venues.
We are seeking enthusiastic, customer-oriented Servers to join our restaurant team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing an outstanding dining experience by delivering exceptional customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for hospitality, and enjoys making guests feel welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring special requests are noted.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by attending to their needs throughout the dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of orders.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
- Support other team members to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly.
Qualifications:
- Previous server experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for extended periods of time.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
