Job Description: The General Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of all installed equipment and components in the Facility. In addition, the General Facility Manager shall maintain all equipment, components, systems, and structures according to the manufacturer’s operations and maintenance manuals. The Maintenance Manager shall keep organized records of preventative maintenance and repairs of all equipment, structures, components, and systems using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Compensation: This position will be salaried commensurate with experience. This position will also be eligible for health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and to participate in the company 401K matching program.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- 3-5 years of maintenance management experience, with a span of control of at least 3 employees
- Experience with vendor management
- Experience with client management
- Experience with budgeting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Must be able to stand, lean, bend, and/or sit while working
- Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds
- Valid United States driver’s license with no restrictions or accumulated points
- Must be available to be on call should emergency situations arise
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft 365
- Proficient using Apple devices
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing preventative maintenance of all equipment and building components
- Ability to diagnose and repair equipment
- Ability to use the CMMS software to create service tickets for all work performed and perform inspections of facility equipment, structures, components, and systems
- Responsible for checking and responding to emails daily
- Responsible for vendor management
- Responsible for preventative maintenance, inspections, cleaning and repairs on all facility components, equipment, structures, and systems
- Experience overseeing fire/life safety equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing systems, lighting systems, painting projects
- Upload inspections and service tickets in the CMMS daily and submit monthly maintenance and repair reports to the Facility Operations Manager
- Construct and maintain a full inventory of all parts
- Construct and maintain a full inventory of all assets, tools, and equipment
- Communicate facility needs and recommendations to Director
- Complete and pass OSHA online training module
- Other tasks and projects not specified above but deemed necessary by the Director
- Complete monthly expense reports
- Ability to travel to other locations, occasionally
