Director of Resident Services

We are hiring a Director of Resident Services, a strategic leader who champions the quality of life for our residents, and provides oversight to several departments focused on residents’ experiences and well-being. The Director will lead Resident Life teams who support the social, psychological, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual needs of our residents. We are looking for a strong leader who can enhance and evolve our programs and services, drive resident interactions and engagement throughout the community, and provide support to residents as they transition to higher levels of care -- all in support of our mission “to help people live better lives.” Compensation: Base salary commensurate with experience up to $125,000 annually, with a generous bonus plan. OFFERING A $7,500 SIGN ON BONUS!! (this bonus excludes internal applicants of Erickson Senior Living and candidates through an agency) How you will make an impact: Provide programmatic oversight to the following departments within Resident Services: Community Resources, the Volunteer Program, Staff Appreciation, Philanthropy, Wellness, Community TV, Pastoral Ministries, Intermissions, Social Work, Home Support, Certified Home Health. Serve as primary liaison with resident committees and groups, to support a vibrant resident culture and diversity of experiences. Support the role of Resident Services in the successful integration of person-centered, strengths-based programs and services for all residents. Develop and maintain a consistent and qualitative needs assessment of the population and provide high-quality responses to those needs. Manage the overall operations of the Resident Services department while meeting or exceeding federal, state, and local regulations and appropriate quality and service standards. Oversee the development of resident relations program to meet residents’ needs and ensure resident quality and service. Supervise and support a professional staff of the highest quality in each division of Resident Services. What you will need: Bachelor's Master’s degree preferred. Healthcare experience preferred Minimum of 5 years management experience with progressively more responsible positions A desire to work with seniors; knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychological and social needs of the elderly.
