About 8Fleet:

8Fleet is hiring! 8Fleet is a rapidly growing LA-based technology and logistics startup building the operational infrastructure for both non-autonomous and future autonomous rideshare fleets.

About the Role:

We are looking for Part-Time Drivers to transport passengers in a comfortable, safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and time management skills, which helps them be efficient with their work. Essentially, providing a clean, enjoyable ride and safe driving practices while maintaining a positive and pleasant attitude. Pay is $18/hour plus tips.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• 25 years or older

• Valid drivers license

• A successful background check and motor vehicle license record check

• A successful drug screen, including marijuana

You are not required to provide or use your own vehicle or car insurance to be employed at 8Fleet. We will provide a fully insured vehicle for use during your shift.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up passengers at their designated locations and safely transport them to their destination, adhering to traffic laws and regulations, and practice safe driving habits

• Provide a positive and professional experience for passengers including greeting them, assisting with luggage, and addressing any passenger inquiries and requests

• Ensure the vehicle remains clean, safe, and comfortable for all riders

• Utilize GPS and routing apps to learn and determine efficient travel routes

• Functionality is a must!

Requirements and skills:

• A valid California driver’s license

• A clean driving record

• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods

• Availability to take weekend and night shifts as required

• A polite and professional disposition

• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (ex: at rush hour)

Compensation:

• $18 hr. plus tips

• Stock option award

• Participation in bonus programs that the company offers from time to time

• Paid time off
