8Fleet is hiring! 8Fleet is a rapidly growing LA-based technology and logistics startup building the operational infrastructure for both non-autonomous and future autonomous rideshare fleets.
About the Role :
We are looking for Drivers to transport passengers in a comfortable, safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and time management skills, which helps them be efficient with their work. Essentially, providing a clean, enjoyable ride and safe driving practices while maintaining a positive and pleasant attitude.
To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. Note that you don’t need to have a car; we provide drivers with our own vehicles.
Responsibilities :
Pick up passengers at their designated locations and safely transport them to their destination, adhering to traffic laws and regulations, and practice safe driving habits
Provide a positive and professional experience for passengers including greeting them, assisting with luggage, and addressing any passenger inquiries and requests
Ensure the vehicle remains clean, safe, and comfortable for all riders
Utilize GPS and routing apps to learn and determine efficient travel routes
Punctionality is a must!
Requirements and skills :
A valid California driver’s license
A clean driving record
Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
Availability to take weekend and night shifts as required
A polite and professional disposition
Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (ex : at rush hour)
Compensation : 18 hr. plus tips.
