Responsibilities
Quality Assurance (QA) Information Technician
Key Results Areas: The position, which reports to a QA Supervisor, is responsible for recording test results consistently. Additionally, this position will be required to perform miscellaneous tests throughout the plant that include: visual inspections, Equipment Tests, and Chemical Tests. A large percentage of this position will include data entry.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills. Ability to interact effectively with department, company, and experience in a team-oriented environment is required.
Associate degree or Technical Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred, but not required.

- Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and supervisor.
- Must be able to observe process and identify problems before they occur.
- Notify Supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are needed.
- Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production
- Perform all duties necessary to meet American Institute of Baking (AIB), Company, and or Government requirements / standards as prioritized by the
- Inform Management of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes, which become non-compliant with specification and place on hold per HOLD SOP
- Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety
- Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety
- Controls further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been addressed
- Have ability to work in Microsoft Office programs up to and including Office, Excel, Access, Outlook and Power Point
