This position is for a Hotel Security Supervisor. Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and swing shifts. The officer may be requested to assist in emergencies or shift coverage of security based upon additional security training or certification needs. As a Hotel Security Supervisor, you are responsible for ensuring safety and security for static sites, client sites, and your fellow officers. You would be responsible for overseeing Static Officers and assisting with Scheduling for your site.
This position includes working with Agency and Client Equipment and keeping them in good working order, i.e. computer, scanners, security cameras, mail systems, etc. To thrive in this position, you must have solid customer service and interpersonal skills, be comfortable working with and learning new technology, be able to de-escalate tense individuals, and remain calm, level headed, and self-controlled in emergencies. Our ideal candidate is understanding, kind, detailed and safety oriented. Hours/shifts per week may vary due to supervisory needs.

Security Guard Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Clean background with no criminal convictions.
- Physical strength and fitness.
- Clean cut appearance and grooming standards required.
- Strict moral and ethical code of integrity and honesty.
- Minimum 2-3 years prior experience as a Security Guard.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to operate security systems and emergency equipment.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work alone with limited supervision as well as to be a team player.
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and to respect a Chain of Command.
- Ability to solve problems as they arise.
- Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations and to use De-escalation techniques.
- Good understanding of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
- Ability to submit daily written reports.
- Outstanding surveillance and observation skills.
- Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense (training is also provided).

Security Guard Duties:
- Patrolling and monitoring activities on Client properties and other premises regularly to discourage criminal activity and ensure the environment is safe and secure.
- Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining suspects/perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over.
- Cooperating/working with law enforcement in documenting criminal complaints and transferring custody of detained and/or arrested suspects.
- Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to client management and security supervisors.
- Inspect and patrol premises regularly.
- Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner.
- Provide assistance to people in need.
- Protect the public while on client property.
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity.
- Maintain regular training standards and relevant security qualifications and certifications.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 Depending on Experience.
Salary : $20 - $25
