The Position: As Broadcast Traffic Coordinator you will work with multiple departments to maintain proper break management and advertisement placement. This is an exciting and fast-paced position where you will work both individually and as a team to be successful.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling local and network programming.
• Gather and distribute all episodic information for syndicated programming.
• Create, manage, and print daily commercial logs.
• Allocate commercial spots and maximize revenue.
• Solicit and input commercial traffic instructions from Media Consultants.
• Perform daily checks to ensure the accuracy of data input into the traffic system.
• Provide sales staff with reports from the traffic system as needed.
• Ensure accurate program timings on log.
• Commercial retrieval and verification.
• Assist in advertisement reallocation as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Suite. Previous experience with Wide Orbit or other traffic software is preferred, but will train the right individual.
• Must have strong communication and time management skills
• Must be highly organized and a job well done
• Attention to detail and accuracy required
• Must have a positive attitude

The Location: Heritage Broadcasting is based in beautiful Northern Michigan. This position will be based out of our Cadillac office. This is a great place to live, work and play!
