Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Transport Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in professional driving roles such as Uber, Lyft, or similar services, and will exhibit exceptional social skills, a great presentation, and a commitment to safety and reliability. This role involves not only transporting patients to and from their homes but will also drive our clinical team to our other offices on rotation to Brownsville, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and Corpus Christi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport patients to and from their appointments at our clinic.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with patients, providing assistance as needed.
- Transport team, equipment, and supplies to other cities within Texas as required. Overtime pay, meals, and lodging are provided on travel rotations.
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and presentable at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of travel routes, expenses, and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements:
- Bilingual, English and Spanish.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a professional driver with services like Uber, Lyft, or similar.
- An impeccable driving record and a valid Texas driver's license.
- Successful completion of background checks and driving history review.
- Excellent social and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to lift and transport heavy equipment as needed.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
