We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Assistant to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. Duties
- Assist in assembling products using hand tools and power tools to meet production targets.
- Operate machinery on the assembly line, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
- Fabricate components as needed, following specifications and blueprints accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency within the shop.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues that arise during production.
- Utilize forklifts for moving materials and finished products within the warehouse as required.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly line processes is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge is highly regarded, with an understanding of basic fabrication techniques.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately are critical for success in this role.

Pay: $16.61 - $20.00 per hour
