Job Summary:
911inet is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is a challenging and rewarding commission-based position focused on generating sales by actively pursuing provided leads and potentially developing new opportunities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with exceptional sales skills, a strong work ethic, and the willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States to meet with prospective clients and close deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively follow up on company-provided leads to identify and qualify sales opportunities.
- Travel extensively nationwide to conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations with potential clients (public safety agencies, municipalities, relevant organizations, etc.).
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact and lead nurturing through negotiation and contract closing.
- Develop a deep understanding of 911inet's products, services, and value proposition.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Effectively communicate the value of our solutions to key decision-makers.
- Meet and exceed established sales targets and performance goals.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Represent 911inet professionally and ethically at all times.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in a B2B or B2G (Business-to-Government) sales role, preferably in a commission-based structure.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage leads and close sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the United States (potentially 70-80% travel time).
- Valid U.S. Driver's License and reliable transportation for local/regional travel when not flying.
- Proficiency with CRM software and standard office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks).
- Experience selling technology, software, telecommunications, or related services is a plus.
- Experience selling into the public safety, government, or 911 sectors is highly desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Compensation:
- This is a 100% commission-based role offering significant, uncapped earning potential directly tied to your sales performance.

Work Environment:
- This position requires significant time spent traveling nationally. When not traveling, work may be performed remotely or from a home office. Proximity to the Columbus, GA area is a potential base, but qualified candidates from other locations willing to travel extensively will be considered.
