As a Pizza Cook, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, ensuring that each pizza is prepared with precision and care while maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to our established recipes and quality standards.
- Manage the preparation of your ingredients and toppings.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking tools.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking ingredient usage and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Engage with customers providing excellent service and up selling menu items.
- Willing to learn new styles of pizza
Experience
- Previous experience as a pizza maker is required - by hand ! There is no machines here.
- Must be able to stretch dough and make pizza in a busy environement
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
- Basic math skills for managing inventory and portion control.
- Experience with cash register or POS systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently in a busy environment.
- English speaking - bilingual is great.
