We are looking for a Part-Time Storage Manager to join our team! Your primary tasks will include planning and facilitating all self-storage activities and transactions we well as maintain our standards and procedures. Secondary duties include handling rental transactions. This is part time to full time position depending on the candidate and hours (normal business). This is not the kind of job where you will be sitting at a desk all shift without much to do! We have a dynamic owner and are in a growth stage.
Responsibilities:
- Attract and educate new tenants
- Investigate and resolve tenant complaints
- Maximizing rental income
- Preparing rental agreements
- Handling financial transactions including payments, collections, and banking transactions
- Working knowledge of self-storage products and services
- Office and facility should be kept in a neat and orderly manner
- Maintaining general curb appeal
- Physical & digital filing, mail Sorting and general organizational activities
- Answering Phones
- Occasional storage cleaning and very light maintenance
Qualifications:
- Good computer skills, CRM work is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous experience in property management or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with tenants
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A happy attitude
- Willingness to stand up and smile when someone walks through the door
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation that you can use to perform your duties
