Your responsibilities Set up: Identifying, assembling, maintaining, preparation, packaging and sorting of molds. Casting: proper dispensing of urethane, mold assembling, mold disassembling, initial part inspection and waste management Finishing: repairing, curing, trimming, final inspection and packaging Machine Maintenance: daily calibration, temperature monitoring, all related PM’s to maintain proper functioning equipment Record Keeping: maintain daily production and maintenance/repair records Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions Maintains safe operations by adhering to FLSmidth safety procedures and regulations. Properly maintain company supplied uniforms Performs other related duties as assigned What you bring High School Diploma or GED 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing and/production environment Must be able to interpret blue prints Must have the ability to follow written or verbal instructions Must have knowledge of health and safety requirements including but not limited to fire hazards, compressed gases, electrical, chemical and mechanical devices Physical demands and work environment The employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit and smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Be aware there will be extreme heat conditions!
