Job Summary:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in various projects, ensuring the successful implementation and functionality of electrical systems. Your expertise will encompass a variety of critical areas, including lighting, fire alarm, low voltage systems, power systems, and backup power systems. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Key Role Responsibilities:
Design and Development
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for various applications, including residential, and commercial projects.
- Create detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and drawings using CAD software and other design tools.
- Develop new and innovative solutions to meet client needs and project requirements.
Project Management
- Oversee electrical projects from concept through completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure installations meet design specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
Technical Duties
- Perform detailed electrical calculations to determine system requirements and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including NEC, IEC, and local building codes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems and equipment.
Client and Stakeholder Communication
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice and technical solutions.
- Present electrical design proposals and findings to clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with project teams to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Collaboration
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to integrate electrical design with overall project plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary project teams to deliver cohesive and functional spaces
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Conduct quality control checks on electrical systems and components.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Implement sustainable and energy-efficient electrical solutions.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in electrical design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, MATLAB).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a team environment.
- Have a positive attitude to help motivate our team to complete projects in tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage stressful situations and to adapt to constant change.
Education & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institute. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of working experience in electrical engineering or a related field. Proven track record of successful projects demonstrated through a portfolio.
- Project Management Experience preferred.
Certifications & Professional Affiliations:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license and ability to obtain in the state of Wyoming required.
- OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
- Valid Driver’s License
Working Environment:
- Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.
- May involve working indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions.
- Office setting with some fieldwork required for site visits and inspections.
- Occasional travel may be necessary for client meetings and project oversight.
- Additional Notes: This position will work closely with a full design team which will consist of an Architect, Interior Designer, Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer and Landscape Architect.
