Job Summary:

If so, we invite you to join our team as a Industrial Maintenance Technician and play a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform standard mechanical and electrical duties in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plant equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical malfunctions.
- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance inspections and services on machines, with a focus on electrical components and control systems.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment, emphasizing troubleshooting electrical issues and controls.
- Lead and perform equipment change-overs on rewinders, wrappers, and case packers.
- Conduct equipment inspections to ensure optimal performance, paying particular attention to electrical systems and controls.
- Maintain and repair plant equipment to assure continuation of production, with a focus on electrical and control systems.
- Utilize knowledge of industrial computerized controls, variable speed drives, level sensors, and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues efficiently.
- Oil and lubricate moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
- Record and report damaged, worn, or broken electrical and mechanical parts.
- Order and install replacement parts for machines, with a focus on electrical components.
- Identify the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines, with an emphasis on electrical and control issues.
- Repair down machines quickly and efficiently, focusing on electrical systems.
- Prepare reports documenting work performed, highlighting electrical maintenance and repairs.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines, focusing on electrical systems and controls.
- Make necessary modifications and implement test runs; confer with managers regarding test results and make additional alterations to machinery as required, focusing on electrical and control system performance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic working in facilities or project management, with a focus on electrical and controls.
- Work safely, wear PPE, model LOTO behaviors
- Formally trained in tasks such as bearing removal/replacement, failure analysis, part alignment, cause and effect, rigging, and analytical troubleshooting.
- Able to pass a Mechanical Reasoning and Aptitude Assessment.
- Have own tools.
- Qualified on basic shop equipment.
- Qualified on Forklift and Scissor lift.
- Demonstrated mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems and controls.
- Strong mechanical aptitude inclined with great problem-solving skills, particularly for electrical issues.
- Ability to use all hand tools and power tools common to industrial maintenance, especially those for electrical work.
- Good communication skills.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
- Proven experience as a tissue converting mechanic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Relevant certifications or training in machinery maintenance and electrical systems is a plus.
Desired Skills:
· Trained in AB and/or Siemens controls systems.
· 10 years as an Industrial Mechanic.
· Have an in-depth understanding of Preventative maintenance.
· Understand and can complete a GANTT for maintenance days.
· Can operate a lathe and milling machine (not CNC).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
