This position reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards, performing and analyzing big component measurements, making quality reports, and monitoring the production phase.I. DutiesResponsibilities:
- Ensure raw materials and finished products meet specifications through meticulous examination and precise measurement tools.
- Verify products meet industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements by staying updated on quality regulations.
- Write reports to document deficiencies and errors in products.
- Communicate identified defects promptly to supervisors and collaborate on corrective actions for timely resolution.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
Qualifications for Quality Control Inspector:
- Proven experience as a quality control inspector in the same industry.
- Excellent knowledge using high accuracy ID & OD micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.
- Familiarized with measuring in millimeters.
- Excellent knowledge of interpreting mechanical drawings & blueprints.
- Good team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in computer word processing and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good knowledge of industry products and processes.
- Basic mathematical arithmetic.
- Excellent oral and communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and reporting skills.
- Attention to detail.
Technical and Administrative Competencies
- Expert-level fluency in producing clear and precise technical documentation.
- Mastery in using high-precision measuring instruments for dimensional analysis.
- Superior ability to accurately interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Comprehensive expertise in mechanical systems and principles.
- Strong technical understanding of wind energy, wind farms, and turbine operations.
- Advanced expertise in gearboxes and main shaft systems.
- Proficient in the advanced use of Microsoft Office for administrative and technical tasks.
