About us
929 Transport is a small family owned trucking business in Punta Gorda, FL. We have been in business for over 8 years, and are seeking skilled truck and trailer mechanics to join our team. In this role, you will perform essentail maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The focus will be on task such as preventive maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and completing all associated paperwork. Please note this role does not involve heavy engine rebuilds and so forth. Projects of that nature will be contracted out to a specialty shop.
Skills
- Ability to assemble and disassemble vehicle parts with precision.
- Experience using power tools and other specialized equipment.
- Thorough understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures.
