Responsibilities of the Medicare Insurance Specialist:

  • Sell and market medicare insurance products to customers in person and over the phone.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their insurance needs are met.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through outside sales techniques.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Educate customers to ensure they receive the best coverage at a competitive price.
  • Administer and manage insurance policies, ensuring that all documentation and paperwork are accurate and complete.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Medicare insurance products and services to communicate with clients effectively.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize market knowledge to stay informed about industry trends and developments, making informed client recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of sales activities, customer interactions, and policy changes.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of local and national insurance regulations.

Qualifications for the Medicare Insurance Specialist:

  • Proven experience in retail sales, outside sales, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer complaints and issues professionally.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
