The Account Supervisor at 9Rooftops manages and leads the agencys day-to-day relationship with key client contacts. This individual focuses the efforts of agency personnel to ensure projects are completed as proposed on time, within budget and with a minimum of disruption to daily activity of client or agency.
As the Account Supervisor, you will employ a range of thinking and decision-making skills, such as what if, critical and judicious approaches to client issues and initiatives. You are essentially the lead project manager on client projects and thus must demonstrate an ability to organize workload and workflow. In this position, you are expected to effectively present the agencys decisions, recommendations and creative product to a range of client audiences.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure client trust, satisfaction, and retention.
- Act as a strategic category expert by staying informed on client business issues/needs and marketplace trends.
- Stay informed with media landscape changes across social, digital, and traditional platforms.
- Assist with development and presentation of project scopes, including deliverables, resources, and budgets.
- Monitor ongoing client satisfaction and ensure work meets both 9Rooftops and client quality standards, raising issues to appropriate functional leads.
- Continuously identify growth opportunities organically within accounts to expand services and drive revenue through keen understanding of the clients business/challenges.
- Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude while balancing client and agency needs.
- Be the confident, authoritative voice of the agency team.
- Develop and maintain strong internal relationships to improve collaboration and solutions.
- Resolve conflicts effectively with clients, team members, and vendors.
- Proactively seek process improvements to support 9Rooftops success.
- Stay curious and explore new directions for client and agency decisions, with a willingness to push your own thinking and the agencies work.
- Lead team growth, ensuring high performance, empowerment, accountability, and motivation.
- Manage client business and 9Rooftops teams by motivating and directing team players with a clear vision to achieve shared goals.
- Take ownership of deployment and management of agency resources on accounts.
- Prepare timely and accurate internal (creative briefs, timelines, estimates) and external (client reports, status updates) communications.
- Develop and monitor project estimates vs. actuals to minimize write-offs.
- Review monthly billing for accuracy per accounting and client requirements.
- Generate monthly account recaps for Client Services and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of account/agency experience required.
- Experience in the hospitality and tourism category preferred.
- Managerial experience, including experience developing, motivating and mentoring.
- Experience leading project teams with multiple discipline representation (creative, media, strategy, social, technology).
- Ability to set department priorities and recommend best practices.
- Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems in a client-centric environment.
- Ability to conceptualize goals and objectives for clients and internal team(s).
- Demonstrate high levels of integrity, autonomy and self-motivation.
