Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the bar's atmosphere and efficiency while upholding our standards of hospitality. You must be 18 years or older.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards.
- Manage the bar area by keeping it clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using Toast POS or other point-of-sale systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about drink selections, and making recommendations.
- Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly while maintaining accurate records of sales.
- Assist with banquet and catering events as needed, ensuring timely service and adherence to event specifications.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, recipes, and menu offerings to enhance guest experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Must be able to handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism.
