Description

A-1 Industries is looking for a reliable and skilled CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will transport goods efficiently and safely while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and company policies. This role is critical to maintaining our supply chain operations and delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Essential duties

• Deliver building materials to company customers

• Properly strap and secure delivery and pick-up loads according to DOT regulations and company policy, or as directed by management

• Driver must perform pre and post trip inspections and report to a supervisor

• Maintain paper driving logs

• Complete periodic telephone communications to company dispatcher

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Posses a valid CDL A
• Possess a driving record , MVR, that meets company standards
• At least 2 years of verifiable experience operating a commercial motor vehicle
• Must be able to pass and maintain a DOT physical
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug and/or alcohol screenings
• Basic knowledge of DOT regulations as it pertains to operating a commercial motor vehicle
• Former Moffett, roller bed, or construction delivery experience a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Professional experience a must
