Job description

Job Title: Director of Service
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management: Oversee and manage the HVAC service team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency and productivity.
- Customer Relations: Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure our safety culture is encouraged and enforced to maintain our goal of Zero Accidents.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory and ensure necessary parts and equipment are available.
- Budgeting and Financial Oversight: Budget and manage labor & indirect cost. Responsible for signing off on bid temps and proposals.
- Service Strategies: Develop and implement service strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
- Mentorship: Manage and mentor the service team, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor service performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve service efficiency and quality.
- Client Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with key clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Department Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of service delivery.
- Industry Trends: Stay current on industry trends and best practices to improve service offerings continually.
Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.)
- A degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in HVAC commercial service management
- Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and equipment
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record of driving business growth and customer satisfaction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
