Requirements:
An ideal candidate for this position will have at a minimum a high school diploma. Applicants must be able to work in a fast paced environment. They must also have the willingness to learn, have an outgoing & positive attitude, be reliable, have a good work ethic, work well with others, and common sense.Applicants must also have a clean driving record and pass a drug test. Duties
- Perform glass installations on a variety of vehicles, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle glass to identify any damage or issues that need addressing.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to ensure precise installation and repair work.
- Collaborate with team members to assess vehicle conditions and determine necessary repairs or replacements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist with auto estimating for repairs related to glass damage.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about the services performed and any additional recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, including advancements in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology related to automotive glass.
Skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations and repairs.
- Skilled in using hand tools specific to automotive repair and maintenance.
- Knowledge of ADAS systems is a plus, as it relates to modern vehicle technology.
- Background in auto body repair or dealership experience is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
