What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Watch position at A-1 Tree Service & Stump Removal?
We are currently seeking a diligent and responsible individual to join our team as a firewatch. The primary responsibilities of this position include monitoring and patrolling designated areas to ensure the prevention of fires and to quickly respond to any potential fire hazards. The firewatch will also be responsible for reporting any safety concerns to the operating engineers that are assigned too.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor designated areas for any signs of fire activity
- Report any safety concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Provide assistance in the event of a fire emergency
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in fire prevention or fire safety is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
