This role involves performing forest management operations, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Tiger Cat 480B mastication machines for forest management and fire prevention operations.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols on the job site.
Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals.
Ensure timely and high-quality completion of all assigned tasks.
Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain and enhance operational skills.
Communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors and team members to facilitate project success.
Be prepared for out-of-town assignments, with accommodations provided.
Requirements:
Proven experience operating heavy equipment, particularly Tiger Cat 480B mastication machines.
Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Willingness to travel for out-of-town jobs.
Possession of a fire card is preferred.
