What are the responsibilities and job description for the SHOP FLOOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER position at A&A Company, Inc.?
A&A Coatings a Thermal Spray Coating company of South Plainfield, NJ is seeking to immediately fill the Full-Time position of Shop Floor Mechanical Engineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work with shopfloor technicians to help them setup the job for an efficient spraying process.
- Work with Operation Manager and Process Engineer to resolve day to day job card related technical issues.
- Program 6-axis FANUC robot.
- Interpret customer and company technical drawings to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with design specifications.
- Create job routers in ERP system based on manufacturing process requirement.
- Create supporting documentation for routers (i.e., drawings, process control sheets,etc.)
- Design tooling and fixturing in AutoCAD and Solidworks.
- Participate as a key contributor on project to establish the robust process and production plan
- Identifying improvements in the process to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Any other duties which will be determined by the Management of A&A Coatings
