Responsibilities

- Manage transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Assist with stock management, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and organized.
- Engage in upselling and suggestive selling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain knowledge of grocery store products and services to provide informed recommendations.
- Support retail sales initiatives by promoting current promotions and discounts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer service.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers.
- Experience in customer service, preferably in a grocery store or retail sales environment.
- Knowledge of retail math to assist with inventory management and sales reporting.
- Ability to upsell products while maintaining a focus on customer needs.
- Supervisory skills are a plus for potential leadership opportunities within the team.
- Familiarity with stock management processes to ensure product availability.
