Crane Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating RT crane and Magni Rotating Telehandlers. This role is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials on construction sites or industrial settings. The Crane Operator will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that require precision and attention to detail while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with ground crew members to ensure safe loading and unloading of materials.
• Maintain clear communication with site supervisors and other operators regarding site conditions and load requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance on cranes and other heavy equipment, including backhoes, dump trucks, front loader trucks, and water trucks.
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents or injuries on-site.
• Document daily operations, including any maintenance performed or issues encountered.

Experience

• MUST have at least 5 years experience as a Crane Operator.
• Familiarity with Grove 8100 a plus.
• Valid crane operator certification is mandatory
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to crane operation and heavy machinery use.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing site environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

• 10 hour shift
