Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for precision and quality? We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Assembler (Part-Time) to join our are assembly team.
A General Assembler at A&A operates and maintains stations to assemble, align and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.
Specific Duties
- Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly equipment.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications and quality standards.
- Repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
- Keeps daily assembly production records.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
- Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to use tools and machines used for assembling parts.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Frequent stooping, bending, pulling and pushing.
- Ability to lift, carry or drag up to 50 pounds if necessary.
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs.
