Responsibilities
- Within 60 days receive and maintain a pest control license (including General Pest, Laws and Safety) in Oregon
- Investigate pest related issues, Identify pests and condusive conditions, recommend actions, and Initiate treatment startegies including mixing, applying and working with chemicals.
- Mix, apply and work with chemicals, recommend action, investigate issues, monitor activity, identify pests, and initiate treatments for pests
- Utilize technology in day-to-day work, including payroll app, communication app and primary mobile app that logs customer interactions and pest findings
- Communicate effectively and professionally to customers and co-workers; build rapport with customers and be able to answer questions confidently and professionally
- Adhere to all state and federal chemical and safe driving laws, maintain a safe driving record
- Update records and ensure documented work is thorough and accurate
- Manage inventory of tools and chemicals, and ensure vehicle is well maintained
Education and Requirements for a Pest Control Technician:
- Prior experience in pest control preferred, however a great attitude and work ethic may substitute in some instances.
- High School GED or equivalent
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to customers and co-workers
- Navigate smartphone apps and basic computer technology
- Able to pass a background check.
- Ability to frequently walk quickly, stand, bend, squat, and lift objects weighing 20 lbs and climb a ladder.
- Clean Motor vehicle record
- Attention to detail, and a desire to perform high quality work
- Ability to commute/relocate: Clackamas, Oregon City, South Portland Areas in Oregon (Please note only apply if you are already living in the above areas. Resumes with out of area applicants will be rejected if no explanation is provided.)
A&A Pest Control Offers:
- Wage of $60,000-75,000 per year
