As an Assistant Controller, you will contribute to the companys continued success by working with and assisting our accounting team to ensure that financial information is reported and analyzed in a timely fashion to upper management.

The Assistant Controller must possess excellent supervisory and analytical skills and thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment while contributing to company growth.
The Assistant Controllers responsibilities include performing or supervising the following :
- Ensure accurate classification of transactions in the general ledger
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations (general ledger, A / R, A / P, inventory, job cost)
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and perform analytical reviews
- Prepare and review reconciliations of various general ledger accounts promptly
- Assist in annual pre-qualification applications
- Handle monthly and quarterly tax reporting (sales / use tax, fuel tax)
- Support management with recurring and ad hoc analyses
- Research and resolve financial transaction queries from management
- Provide leadership during company audits
