A&A Safety, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Walk Behind Paint Cart Operator to join our team. This position involves the application of traffic paint on streets, intersections, bike lanes, crosswalks, and other roadway surfaces using a walk-behind striping cart. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, hardworking, and able to work independently outdoors in various weather and traffic conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Operate a walk-behind striping machine to apply paint for traffic lanes, centerlines, edge lines, crosswalks, turn arrows, bike lanes, and other road markings.
- Accurately measure and lay out striping patterns using tapes, stencils, and chalk lines in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensure all pavement markings are highly visible, evenly applied, and meet safety and quality standards.
- Prepare job sites by setting up cones, signs, and barricades to safely divert traffic.
- Load and unload equipment, paint, stencils, and supplies needed for daily work.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of striping equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Communicate with supervisors, flaggers, and other crew members to ensure safe and efficient workflow.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, and adhere to OSHA and DOT standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in line striping or a similar role required.
- Familiarity with operating an airless walk-behind striping machine.
- Ability to read and interpret site plans, blueprints, or job layouts.
- Good mathematical skills for measuring and layout purposes.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds and working in outdoor environments.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL a plus.
