Job Summary:

We, A Advanced Septic and Construction Services, are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator with experience in mainline digging to join our team.

The Excavator Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining excavators and other heavy equipment to assist with various construction projects.

Our ideal candidate will a valid CDL A license (highly preferred), be able to safely operate a wide variety of excavators to dig around existing underground utilities, cut and fill to grade, excavate, backfill to the desired compaction, and complete manual labor as needed for septic, sewer, drain field, and storm drains.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators to dig trenches, ditches, or foundations
• Bulldoze, backfill, and grade earth to prepare sites for construction
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Safely load and unload materials using heavy machinery
• Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors
• Ensure the safety of all personnel on the work site
• Drives company truck and trailer loaded with an excavator

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License
• 3 years Excavator Operator experience
• 3 Years - Proven experience in excavator operation in Mainline digging
• 3 Years heavy equipment operation
• Proven experience in excavator operation and heavy equipment operation
• Familiarity with operating loaders, water trucks, dump trucks, backhoes, and tankers
• Ability to perform basic mechanical tasks on equipment
• Strong understanding of excavation techniques and safety protocols
• Must be 23 years of age for insurance purposes

Preferred:

• CDL (preferred A)
• Civil construction: 5 years (Preferred)

Schedule:

• 10-hour shift
• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Backhoe operation: 1 year (Preferred)
• Slope calculation: 1 year (Required)
• Rotating laser: 1 year (Preferred)
• Pipe laser: 1 year (Preferred)
• Blueprint reading: 1 year (Required)
• Civil Construction: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• CDL (Preferred)
• CDL A (Highly Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Auburn, WA 98001 (Required)
