Description
We are seeking an experienced waterproofing and deck coatings tradesperson to join our reconstruction team. As a waterproofing professional, you will play a crucial role on various projects, from residential homes to commercial buildings, applying your skills in waterproofing, carpentry and finishing. Our ideal candidate should have a strong background in waterproofing, carpentry with an understanding of building codes and safety regulations. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, from reconstructing frameworks, applying specialty deck coatings to finishing surfaces with precision and craftsmanship. This position requires a commitment to quality and attention to detail. Experience in both waterproofing and carpentry are essential, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with team members. Responsibilities
· Rebuild or repair balcony or deck structures with wood, plywood, and deck coating products and using hand and power tools.
· Follow scope of work specifications and planning work.
· Measure, cut, and shape wood, fiberglass and other deck coating materials using various tools and equipment.
· Experience removing and installing windows and doors, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
· Finish waterproofing of decks and patios and other structures.
· Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment to ensure safety compliance.
· Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion within timelines and budgets.
Requirements
· Proven experience as a carpenter, waterproofing tradesman with a minimum of 2 - 3 years in the field.
· In-depth knowledge of building materials and construction processes.
· Familiarity with hand and power tools used in carpentry.
· Excellent physical condition and strength, able to lift heavy materials.
· Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Salary : $30 - $38
