Requirements / Who we are looking for : Our client is seeking a Payroll analyst to review payroll data and documents for inefficiencies and errors, checking whether all amounts are accurate based on hours worked and ensuring payments are made on time. 5 yrs of related work experience in payrollExcellent Excel skills - vlookups. pivotsADP's EV6 system and PeopleSoft is a plusNeeds to be able to work independently to meet daily / weekly deadlines. Organized and able to multitask College degree preferredPerformance Objectives / What you'll be doing : Start to finish payroll processing of assigned weekly and bi-weekly payrollsProcessing weekly leave of absenceMaintains and ensures the integrity and confidentiality of all employee files and HRIS records including employee information, reporting relationships, position codes, salary data,Maintaining consistent treatment of department controls and procedures.Answers questions and assists with Payroll issue resolution for all employees.Work with Accounting, Treasury, HR, HRIS, Shared Services, and Accounts PayableFollow all SOPs to ensure ongoing internal control complianceUse of Case Management system for question / resolution tracking.Assist with garnishment / lien and child support processing.Be proactive in working with the General Ledger Team to avoid account discrepancies.Auditing weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing reports, checklists, and documentationProject work as needed.
