Social Media Specialist & Office Assistant
A&G Diesel is looking for an energetic and organized individual to fill the combined role of Social Media Specialist and Office Assistant. This dual position will require the candidate to manage our social media strategy while also supporting the administrative functions of the office. The ideal candidate will be highly creative, organized, and able to juggle a variety of tasks efficiently.
Our standard hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, but we believe this position can offer a flexible work week of 30-40 hours to better suit your needs.
Social Media Specialist Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the company’s social media strategy to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Create, edit, and post engaging content across multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Monitor social media channels for customer inquiries, feedback, and trends.
- Stay current with social media trends and implement best practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors.
Office Assistant Responsibilities:
- Occasionally answer phone calls, emails, and manage other office communication.
- Assist in managing office supplies and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and stock.
- Provide administrative support for various departments as needed.
- Maintain and update office files, records, and databases.
- Prepare documents, reports, presentations, and assist with office documentation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in social media management and office administration.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media management tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Creative thinking with the ability to generate engaging social media content.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualification in office administration or marketing is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
