Description
The inventory controller will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels, creating accurate monthly inventory reports, recording the ins and outs of the items, and labeling inventory items that will be used. They will also coordinate with the logistic team for purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
Responsibilities:
- Forecast AB and order all SKUs from AR and TX suppliers.
- Manage expiration dates and overstocks.
- Collaborate with KAMs to prepare for upcoming promotions.
- Coordinate with the Director, Price Management & Sales Execution to activate/deactivate new or discontinued SKUs.
- Create purchase orders (POs) in Encompass for warehouse receiving.
- Confirm all received POs, including transfers before payment.
- Conduct regular visits to locations to ensure accurate inventory and coding.
- Preform intercompany transfers for AR and TX.
Requirements
Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
- Must be 21 years of age or older with a Valid Driver’s license
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as a demonstrated ability to utilize sales applications within ERP software (i.e. Encompass).
- 1 customer service, retail, sales, or service industry experience
- Familiarity with a variety of sales platforms
Preferred:
- 2 years customer service or sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry
- 2 years’ experience with Sales, sales platforms, and service industry
Physical Requirements:
Ability to routinely lift 25 – 75 lbs., climb, reach and perform various physical maneuvers to perform the essential functions of the job.
