RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN HVAC LEAD INSTALLER

- Successfully leads and trains HVAC Install Helpers
- Successfully and efficiently executes assigned HVAC Installations according to specifications and customer satisfaction
- Has strong knowledge of all aspects of residential HVAC systems, including system installations and ductwork
- Educates the customer on the health and operation of their system post installations
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
- Ensures job-site cleanliness
- Maintains vehicle cleanliness (inside and out) and escalates vehicle service maintenance needs in a timely manner to optimize vehicle’s safety, performance, and longevity
- Other duties as assigned
- The company reserves the right to add or change duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS OF AN HVAC LEAD INSTALLER
- Three (3 ) years of experience in the same or similar role desired
- Strong knowledge of HVAC operational principles and safety practices
- Ability to effectively lead a team of Install Helpers
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and navigate tight crawl spaces, and climb ladders in or around attics, garages and rooftops
- Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within given time constraints
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibit professional conduct at all times while on company premises, job site or while operating company vehicle
- Great attention to detail
- Must have a mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to do moderate lifting (up to 75 lbs)
- Must have the ability to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to pass background check, drug screen, and have a valid CA driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF AN HVAC LEAD INSTALLER
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid California non-commercial Class C driver’s license
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb stairs/ladders
- Ability to lift / carry / push / pull up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to work in hot and cold temperature extremes
- Ability to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)

PAY TRANSPARENCY:
The starting salary for this opportunity ranges as it's commission-based fully. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). A candidate’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. Please note that the compensation information is a good-faith estimate for this position. It assumes a rate based on location and experience.
