Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and vigilant Lifeguard to oversee the safety and well-being of swimmers and visitors at our aquatic facility. The Lifeguard will monitor activities, enforce rules, and respond effectively to emergencies to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. The ideal candidate will be alert, proactive, and committed to maintaining a secure space for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Monitoring:

  • Supervise swimmers and facility areas to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Monitor pool activity and ensure all patrons adhere to safety rules and guidelines.

• Emergency Response:

  • Respond promptly to emergencies, including water rescues, CPR, and administering first aid.
  • Alert management and emergency services as needed during critical situations.

• Facility Maintenance:

  • Inspect pool equipment and facilities for cleanliness and safety.
  • Report any hazards or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.

• Customer Service:

  • Greet patrons and provide assistance or information as required.
  • Educate visitors on water safety practices and policies.

• Administrative Duties:

  • Document incidents and maintain accurate records of rescues, injuries, and rule violations.
  • Participate in regular training and drills to maintain certifications and skills.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a current Lifeguard Certification (e.g., Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent).
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications are required.
• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
• Excellent observation and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
