We are seeking an experienced Seasonal Tax Preparer & Reviewer to join our team for the upcoming tax season. This position is ideal for a highly skilled tax professional looking for a temporary role with flexibility in work arrangements (remote, hybrid, or in-person).
Qualifications & Requirements :
Minimum 5 years of experience in tax preparation and review
EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA required; ( CTEC will be considered dependent on candidate)
Strong knowledge of individual and business tax returns
Experience with tax software and ability to adapt to new systems quickly; Experience with Lacerte a MUST
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in tax preparation
Strong communication skills for client interactions and internal reviews
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent references required
Responsibilities :
Prepare and review individual and small business tax returns
Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws
Conduct thorough reviews of tax returns to identify errors and inconsistencies
Communicate with clients regarding tax-related matters, providing guidance as needed
Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth tax season operations
Work Arrangement :
Flexible : Remote, hybrid, or in-person depending on the candidate’s location.
Seasonal position : Duration based on workload and tax season needs
