Medical Practice Manager - Private Therapy Practice

A Balanced Life is a private practice counseling center providing high quality therapeutic mental and behavioral health services in South Lake Tahoe through both private clientele and community-based programs. We are growing and in need of an experienced and dedicated practice manager who can help strengthen organizational systems and company growth.

The job entails managing all aspects of a busy and rewarding office environment. The base office hours are from 9am-6pm pm M-F.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

· Managing the office

· Oversee business operations

· Develop and improve office policies and procedures to help improve company success

· Hiring, training and managing staff

· Medical billing and insurance reimbursement

· Ensure compliance with HIPAA and any applicable regulations

· Managing staff and adherence to the company policies and procedures

· Manage and implement efficient office workflow

· Manage contract related duties

· Interacting and facilitating a successful work environment for the clinicians

· Greeting clients in person and on the phone in a professional and warm manner

· Practicing HIPPAA compliant protocols

· Checking in clients and accepting payment using our electronic medical system

· Assisting clients with the intake process and various paperwork

· Scheduling patients and therapists monthly schedules

· Accounts Receivable

· Documentation of procedures

· Processing payment and billing information

· Standard office administration such as filing, making copies, answering the phone, typing up documentation, assisting our staff and manager with office tasks and projects as needed

· Helping keep the office neat and tidy, other various offices duties that may arise

· Produce documentation of tasks and policies as they evolve

We are looking for someone who is an independent and organized worker who takes initiative. We are in need of a practice manager with strong skills in areas such as communication, leadership, organization, time management and conflict resolution. We are a burgeoning practice and hope to find someone who is able to help us grow and improve our business efficiency and processes.

Ideally, the applicant is local to South Lake Tahoe and wants to remain part of the community and be with us long term.

Desired experience:

· Office management experience

· Supervision of office staff

· Decision maker

· Experience in a medical office

· Experience with insurance paneling and billing

· Experience with HIPAA compliance

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Docs and using and EMR

· Customer service experience a must

· Proficient typing skills

· Ability to write professional correspondence and documents

· Exceptional tech skills and ability to learn new computer programs quickly

· Be able to pass both state and federal fingerprinting with no criminal background

· Quickbooks experience a plus

· Minimum education required is Highschool or equivalent

Pay: $25-27/hour to start depending on experience. Room for growth for the right fit.
