Job Overview
Small practice looking to add LPCCs to provide counseling services to Medicaid population in Mesa County (RMHP RAE 1). This is an awesome opportunity for someone who wants to start building clientele for your own practice.
As a 1099 independent contractor, you choose the clients you want to work with, as well as when and where you want to have sessions. You are welcome to work in-office, remotely, or even in the community. If you would like to offer groups, that would be a bonus. My practice has an unique approach to therapy and promotes getting clients outside and we use animal-based therapy and offer nature/activity-based groups, but you can work wherever you like. Non-traditional approaches to therapy are encouraged.
Pay rate is:
$60/60 min psychotherapy session (prorates for shorter sessions)
$75/ Diagnostic Evaluation
$15/Group psychotherapy member (Min 2, max 10 members per hour long group)
Other rates to be discussed depending on type of service provided.
As an 1099 contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes.
The Counselor will meet with clients to develop treatment plans, conduct assessments, and facilitate therapeutic sessions and clinical interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide counseling services to clients dealing with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and other mental health issues.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with ICD-10 standards.
- Submit clinical documentation within three business days
Requirements
- Current LPCC status in Colorado
- Current liability/malpractice insurance
- Ability to independently diagnose mental health conditions and assign ICD-10 codes
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and use strong clinical and ethical judgement
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in counseling practices.
