URGENTLY SEEKING a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to a special needs individual in Clinton, TN 9AM - 5 PM Monday - Friday
As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to resident rights and the ability to work effectively in various care settings, including assisted living, home health, and memory care environments.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's overall well-being.
- Monitor and document client health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with resident rights and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support clients with mobility assistance and transfers as needed.
- Administer first aid when necessary and assist with medication reminders.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction.
- Provide direct support for individuals with memory care needs or those receiving hospice care.
Experience
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or home health settings is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of resident rights and best practices in caregiving is essential.
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response protocols is advantageous.
- Experience working with individuals requiring memory care or hospice services is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families are crucial for success in this role.
