Duties
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide patient monitoring to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
- Support individuals with disabilities by facilitating mobility and assisting with heavy lifting as needed.
- Offer companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
- Implement care plans tailored to the specific needs of each resident, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and resident rights.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, reporting any concerns or changes in condition to nursing staff.
- Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or memory impairments, utilizing appropriate techniques to enhance their comfort and understanding.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and familiarity with dementia care practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist individuals with mobility challenges.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to upholding resident rights.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

- Certification in caregiving or nursing is a plus but not required.
