PC Laptop Technician - E-Commerce

We are an IT Asset Disposition firm in Glen Burnie, MD looking for a couple of motivated, hungry, responsible, and smart techies.

We need people to sort, test and refurbish various electronic and computer equipment. Then write up detailed information for listing onto various e-commerce sites. You will be responsible for knowing or learning quickly about a wide variety of stuff. Everything from hard drives to high-end HP test equipment. Every day could bring in something new!

This job starts at $18 per hour and is only limited by your efficiency and hard work! We are willing to pay for good people! Your hard work and effort will not go unnoticed!

DETAILS:
Job Title - PC & Laptop IT Technician
Location - Glen Burnie, MD
Hours: M-F 8am to 4pm.
40 hours a week available - Full time.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Punctuality (Be on time, 8am sharp)
- Drug-Free (we do random testing)
- PC and Laptop testing and repair.
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Complete tasks such as picking, packing, unpacking, stocking, moving and receiving of company inventory and materials.
- Stock deliveries of products and shipping supplies.
- Maintain effective working condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
- Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same.
- Good working knowledge of parts and materials a plus.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Conditions:
- Be able to perform routine and manual duties in warehouse environment
- Be able to move up to 100 pounds.
- Be able to work at floor level, waist level, and shoulder level repetitively.
- Be able to work the shift assigned
- Be able to work in cold & hot weather.

Technical Competencies:
- Ability to pay strong attention to detail and multi-task effectively.
- Have a strong background in PC repair and troubleshooting.
- Able to properly document information legibly.
- Understand and obey all Good Manufacturing Practices.

Non-Technical Competencies:
- Valid US Citizen
- Valid US Driver's License.
- Must be on time every day. 8am sharp.
- Must be a fast-paced worker. This job only works if you are a quick mover.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Requires the ability to communicate and document work.
- Must be able to understand and meet quality standards, methods, and reporting.
- Must be able to pass Drug Test!!!! REQUIRED!!!!!!!!!
- Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check! ALSO REQUIRED!!!!
