Job description
We are seeking an individual who will be trained to provide patient care, physician and pharmacy coordination, administrative duties, and administer in-office therapeutic treatments under the direction of our treating physician
- This individual’s primary responsibility will be to coordinate with insurance and physicians, administer and manage the specific clinical services, interact regularly with patients, document in patient charts and complete additional office administrative tasks when time provides
- Scheduling TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation TMS) treatment appointments and coordinating medical insurance authorizations
- Administering transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) TMS treatments according to protocols provided by mental healthcare professionals and treating physician
- Enabling effective treatment by accurately positioning the transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) equipment's electromagnetic coil
- Ensuring head and neck support in order for patients to remain completely still during sessions
- Explaining TMS procedures and its possible effects on patients, as well as answering questions
- Creating a supportive treatment environment and demonstrating compassion
- Assisting patients to complete psychiatric rating scales after sessions
- Recording session notes and collaborating with certified TMS psychiatrists on patient care
Job qualification
- Previous experience in transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) field.
- Demonstrable proficiency in electronic health record software
- Willingness to learn how to administer TMS treatments and assume high-level responsibility
- Ability to work under supervision and collaborate with mental healthcare professionals.
- Advanced ability to ensure patient safety and comfort, as well as answer questions
- Proficiency in taking session notes and assisting patients to complete psychiatric rating scales
Exceptional communication, as well as interpersonal skills to guide and reassure patients
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
