Plant Health Care Technicians are responsible for:
- Assessing plant health on properties during routine visits.
- Diagnosing plant health and collaborate with Accounts Managers on treatment plans.
- Treaingt for pests and diseases on client properties.
- Understanding and meeting production and project schedule deadlines without sacrificing great customer service or excellent quality.
- Maintaining and caring for company equipment, tools and vehicle
- Promoting job-site and vehicle safety
- Completing work tickets written by Account Managers
- Entering daily time logs for oneself and attached crew
- Communicating property and client needs with Account Managers via phone calls, texts and work orders
- Maintaining a clean and orderly job site including the office yard.
- Possibly performing all tasks associated within landscape maintenance which include pruning, weeding, mulching, raking, cleaning, etc.
- Using and maintaining gas powered equipment such as blowers, hedge trimmers, mowers, weed trimmers, etc.
- Attending training classes and seminars as requested by Field Manager.
Experienced required:
- 1 year minimum residential or commercial landscape maintenance experience.
- Ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license with clean DMVR
- Must be self-motivated and possess strong leadership skills.
- Must be professional in appearance and actions.
- Must be detail oriented and quality driven.
- Must be well organized with strong communication skills (Written and verbal) and ability to multi-task.
- Must have the ability to be proactive, plan ahead and problem solve to minimize disruption, errors, risks and keep work-flow on-task, within budget and on-time.
- Absolute essential ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and possibly, although rarely, holidays should the workload warrant.
- Landscape industry certification is a huge plus.
