What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Color Coordinator position at a Blade of Grass?

Seasonal Color Coordinators are responsible for:
- Working with Brand Manager/Marketing on color palettes for the year (or additional years if possible)
- Assisting Account Managers and Designers with selection of materials, containers, annuals, decor, etc.
- Procuring materials seasonally appropriate including but not limited to holiday decor, live plant materials, lights, bulbs, PHC items etc.
- Developing existing and new vendor relationships
- Managing item list and updating pricing as necessary
- Taking/keeping inventory of materials and creating inventory system, reviewing materials going to sites and performing monthly materials checks
- Organizing materials for our crews
- Working with operations on training and processes/procedures of distributing materials
- Assisting with and purchasing planting containers for all divisions of the company
- Overseeing and assisting with holiday wreath creation/preparation
- Seasonally overseeing helpers/runners as needed
- Purchasing bagged goods and possibly other hardgoods/materials
- Managing entire cycle of materials through Aspire
- Snow plowing during the winter
Experienced required:
- 3 years minimum residential or commercial landscape experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license with clean DMVR and ability to drive vans, box truck, pick up trucks
- Ability to work with Aspire software system
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be professional in appearance and actions.
- Must be detail oriented and quality driven.
- Must be well organized with strong communication skills (Written and verbal) and ability to multi-task.
- Must have the ability to be proactive, plan ahead and problem solve to minimize disruption, errors, risks and keep project on-task, within budget and on-time.
- Absolute essential ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Consider the fast paced and communication heavy work environment
- Ability to travel, work overtime, weekends, and possibly, holidays should the workload warrant.
- Physical aspects to the job of moving plants and materials, potentially heavy
- Landscape industry certification is advantageous
