High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

A Brighter Day Pediatrics is seeking a medical receptionist to join our team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Creating a customer-friendly environment
- Answer phones, referring calls to physicians or triage nurses as needed
- Retrieve messages from voice mail and greet patients.
- Schedule/cancel patient appointments
- Verify demographics and insurance information
- Register and check out all patients
- Collect co-payment; print receipt as needed (post charges and payments – if needed) Confirm appointment schedule
- File and/or upload letters, reports, doctor notes, and triage notes
- Maintain supplies of all forms and office material
- Miscellaneous clerical and administrative duties as requested
- Analytical - Collects and researches data.
